Exploring Fundamentals of Probability, the Binomial Distribution, and the Poisson Distribution with Graphing Calculator Technology
After learning some basics of the Casio PRIZM, we will load an image of a bull’s eye and investigate how random “shots” at a target can foster understanding of probability. We will further these ideas by comparing what we find with what the Binomial and Poisson Distributions predict should occur.
